Dear mum and dad,

I can Hear games going on and off. The games buzzed and screamed. I can see Shimmering lights at a disco and tickets going crazy! I could smell popcorn hot-dog, pizza and jelly, and... frosty-ice-cream. I can taste dairy when I get Out of the car. I felt a fake gun, it was very solid and gold.

Where am I?

Reflection:

We have been learning to describe a setting by using our senses.
Something I enjoyed was describing the place because it was with my family and friends.
I found it tricky to write down all my thoughts.  Next I will put capital letters in the right places.

Reflection:

We were learning to summarise by finding the main ideas in the text.  The diagram above shows what information we looked for.  I enjoyed Reading the book because the book had feelings and emotions. The ugly duckling was the main character.  Next I would like to summarise a longer text.
