Narrative

My reflection I have been learning to write a narrative is a not a real story that has a problem it is like the learning pit. I really enjoyed making up my story as I go on I don't want to stop writing it is like when you go to a fun place you cant stop. Something I found challenging was to think of the characters and their skills and fighting or hobbies The  hardest part is to think what to do next. My next step is to write the rest of my story and to be the best writer I can be.

Holes

I am learning to make a prediction based on the cover and blurb.

Holes
Louis Sachar

Look at the different covers above for the story “Holes”.
What can you see?  What are the common elements between them?
  • Gecko
  • Boy wearing a red cap
  • Holes and a spade
  • Dirt and sand
  • Flat ground

Read the Title.  Why do you think it is called “Holes”?

Because they might dig holes in the book

Read the blurb below for the book.
Highlight the keywords in the blurb.

Using the above information, what do you think will happen in the story?
Write at least  4-6 sentences.

They dig holes under the lake. and There might be a treasure under the lake what they could defeat there  no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great -great-grandfather.

Conclusion
(complete after finishing the story)
Now that you’ve read the story, do you think the cover design, illustrations, title and blurb work well to tell you what the story was about?  Why or why not? What changes would you make?
So my was right and they found a suitcase under the lake bu there was no lake at all and they all most died.

To measure a table or the board in the class

Measuring the wall or the stairs

Measuring the road to find out how much
                                                                                              pain is needed.

Measuring a paper or parts of a carton
Measuring your waist or the perimeter of you
                                                                                            head

Convert the following measurements to the correct unit asked.

  1.  15 cm = __150_______mm 2.  2 cm = 20_______mm

     3.   320 cm = 3 m                           4. 450 cm = 4 m

     5.  15 m = 1500 cm                               6. 3 m = 300 cm

     7.  2 km = 700 m                                 8. 3.5 km = 3 m

Remember!!!!
1 cm = 10 mm
1 m = 100 cm
1 km = 1000 m

Fill in
I know that there is 10 millimeter in one centimeter.
100 centimeter in one meter, and 1000 meter in one kilometer.

Pick the correct answer:

Km is used for short/long distance measurement, whereas m and cm is used for shorter/longer distances.
