Using direct speech

I was learning to use direct speech.  Now  I know that we use speech marks.  I liked writing about the bear because the snowman got smushed by the boulder.

Adding in tens

  

I was learning to add in tens.   Now I  know I need to split number in tens and ones.  It was easy because it was easy to count in tens.

Discussing the setting

I was learning about the setting
Now I know that a setting is the background.
It was easy because I looked at the picture background.
