Making compound sentences

I was learning to make compound sentences.  Now I know this means making your sentence longer with 'and'.  It was tricky to use different joining words.

Counting on and back

Reflection
I was learning to count on and back from the bigger number.  Now I know that you need to start counting from the first number that you say out loud.  It was tricky because sometimes I counted from the wrong number.

Sounding out 3 letter words

 I   was learning to sound out 3 letter words. Now I know if  I don't  know the word I could go to the next word  or  I  could sound the first letter last  letter  and  middle  letter.
