Writing Term 1

I am learning to use a simple plan for my writing.

I can draw a picture about my story to help me when I am writing.

"I like to draw pictures about anything.  Sometimes the pictures are tricky because I can't draw them." Levi

Reading Term 1

I am learning to make the first sound in new words.

"I like reading my books.  It can be tricky saying the sound because I need to learn some letters.  I can ask my teacher for help.  I can read my book at home."  Levi

Maths Term 1

I am learning the numbers from 0 to 10.  It can be tricky sometimes because I keep forgetting the names of the numbers 2 and 7.  Mrs Koroa can help me.

"I like counting on the 100's board.  It is fun." Levi

Term 1 Water Safety

We have been learning to be safe in the water.

"I am trying to put my face in the water.  It's tricky because I don't like getting my face wet." Levi
